  1. Abram and Sarai are impatient, distrustful of God and skeptical of his grace. So they decide to take the shortcut. Where in life may you have a similar heart-posture toward God and his promises? Where you may be tempted to shortcut faith in Jesus?
  2. If you had to distill what it means to be a Christian into one word, what would it be? Does it differ at all from how Hagar shows us a Christian is fundamentally someone who has been found?
  3. Jesus meets Hagar with the strong and tender love of God. Which do you more need right now?
